The leader of the Cameroon People’s Party, CPP, Edith Kah Walla, was speaking after the killing of children in Kumba, an incident that continues to draw national and international condemnation.
According to Kah Walla, the “horror and tragedy” brought by the incident demands quick and urgent response from the Cameroon government to end the four-year conflict in the English-speaking regions.
“How many deaths? For how long? Biya Regime will not take the action required to end this crisis until we force them to do so. It is time for us to stand and demand that they EndAnglophonCrisis,” twitted Kah Walla.
She is among the many Cameroonian politicians to have recently condemned the gruesome killing of some six school children at Mother Francisca International Bilingual Academy, Kumba.
“These children wanted to do what children all around the world take for granted, go to school. We cannot let this go,” twitted Kah Walla Sunday morning.
This was after it was reported that another child had died in the hospital, adding to the six official deaths earlier announced.
