Ex CDC worker allegedly turned Amba fighter, arrested in Limbe

An ex-worker of the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) and alleged Amba fighter by name Fang Jude has been arrested in Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon.

He was apprehended at the CDC, in Bota, Limbe, where he intended to collect money that would assist him in his deceased mother’s burial.

Jude who used to work at the Malende Rubber Estate in Muyuka allegedly abandoned his work to join the separatist movement.

“While at the Head Office, he was identified by a victim of his atrocities at the CDC camp in CAMDEV II, Malende, who signaled the authorities of the Corporation and they alerted the Gendarmes,” reports Express FM Radio 91.5.

Fang Jude was later taken to the Gendarmerie Legion for the South West region in Buea. He is being interrogated on his alleged relationship with separatists and the destruction and attacks on the CDC and its workers.
