An unconfirmed number of persons have been presumed dead in a road accident on the notorious Falaise Hill in Dschang, West region of Cameroon.
The incident which this evening involved a bus belonging to the General Voyages Travel Agency.
First responders say they found a good number of bodies lifeless as they sought to render help to as many passengers as they could.
Among the passengers in the bus at the time of the accident were children.
The vehicle had left Dschang for Douala in the Littoral region before the incident occured.
Other details however remain sketchy at the moment, as authorities are yet to release any statement regarding the unfortunate accident.
Today’s accident at the Falaise Hill adds to one too many over the past months. In one of such instances which happened in January this year, a truck transporting fuel crashed into a bus along the same stretch of road.
The crash and subsequent explosion left 53 dead and over 20 others severely injured.
