Fidèle Elembe missing
The family of Fidèle Elembe, a renowned legal expert and teacher in Yaounde, the capital city of Cameroon, is deeply concerned as they have been without news from him since yesterday. Elembe, who is also a prominent voice during sports debates, has not made contact with anyone, raising alarm among his loved ones.
His family has also made disturbing reports of how Elembe’s phone is being used by unknown individuals, making suspicious requests for money from his contacts. Those close to him confirm that this behavior is entirely out of character, heightening fears about his safety.
Fidèle Elembe was actively engaged in his usual professional activities in the days leading up to his disappearance. Just last Monday, he appeared on the set of Vision 4 Television, a private media in Cameroon. He featured alongside other commentators Gerard Elle and David Eric Bisso.
The sudden lack of communication and the suspicious activity on his phone have prompted his family and colleagues to fear the worst, and they are urging authorities to investigate.
