Far North Region: Boko Haram kills 8 in four separate attacks

The Boko Haram terrorists group is once more blamed for the death of 8 Cameroonians in the Far North Region after launching an avalanche of attacks on the people in the past week.

Two of these four attacks were recorded in the Gambourou and Wouglo localities on 20 March, 2021.

In these attacks, the terrorist group was able to kill over three Cameroonian soldiers of the Multinational Joint Task Force.

The following day, March 21-22, 2021, another attack, still by the terrorist group, was reported in Touro, where two civilian lives were lost.

The last attack was reported in the locality of Mokolo, where militants of the terrorist group reportedly opened fire on the population in an attempt to escape, and killed three civilians in the process.

The people of the Far North Region live in constant fear of the unknown as the Boko Haram Terrorists have continuously spread an aura of terror in the region.

The attacks on the population have multiplied in recent times, and the population has on several occasions launched appeals to the Government to throw in more security personnel in the region to no avail.
