South African female player Miche Minnies goes viral over striking resemblance with Ronaldinho
The similarities between Ronaldinho, a star of Brazilian football star, and South African attacker Miche Minnies, 23, have sparked debates on social media.
Fans were left with more questions than answers after a rare combined picture of the two players went viral.
Minnies is an accomplished forward and is being described as the “spitting image of Ronaldinho.”
While Ronaldinho has been out of football for five years, Minnies is just getting started with her football career.
Others have speculated that Ronaldinho, who has been to South Africa, “may be” Minnies’ father due to the similarities between them.
The attacker has been the subject of online comparisons to the former Barcelona superstar, according to photos that have gone viral.
Who is Minnies?
Miche Minnies is a South African female football player.
Minnies, aged 23 plays for Masandawana.
She moved from Vasco do Gama to Sundowns and excelled in her first season with the club.
With 23 goals in all competitions, she was instrumental in Sundowns’ defence of their Hollywoodbets Super League crown.
They also competed in the finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League and the COSAFA Cup qualifiers.
As she reflected on the season, she referred to some of the best experiences she had while playing for the Brazilians as “beautiful.”
“Since becoming a part of this elite group, I have had many wonderful times. I scored four goals in a game and made it to two continental finals in my first year,” she said.
She is highly talented, but her physical appearance is what everyone is talking about.
Fans Speak Out
Fans have been posting images of Ronaldinho on social media and wondering if he abandoned a kid in South Africa.
Jokingly, a fan demanded that Ronaldinho explain why the “South African player Miche Minnies, who plays for the Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, is such a replica of him.”
Another supporter wondered in response, “Ronaldinho must explain! He obviously went to South Africa back in the day. Do you have the same thoughts that I do?”
It is important to note that the Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho has only ever given birth once, to a son named Joo Mendes, who was born in 2004 as a result of his relationship with Janana Mendes.
He has also not commented on these allegations.
