FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Cameroon Vs Cote D’Ivoire is a Must win for both nations

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the elephants of Cote D’Ivoire shall battle it out for a place in the final round of qualifiers for the FIFA world cup in the CAF zone this Tuesday, November 16, at the Japoma stadium in Douala.

Both nations will get into the match knowing that victory takes them to the final stage of the qualifiers.

Cote D’Ivoire is currently topping the group with 13 points going into the final playing day while Cameroon is second with 12 points.

Cameroon needs to win to sail through to the next round while the Ivorians need at least a draw.

Cote D’Ivoire arrived in Cameroon on Sunday morning and will have the traditional reconnaissance session at the Japoma stadium this evening.

The Indomitable Lions on their part returned to Cameroon from South Africa after their 0#4 victory against Malawi.

Choupo Moting who joined the squad on Monday is expected to feature for Cameroon.

The team shall meet with the Minister of Sports and Physical Education and the President of the Cameroon Football Federation this evening ahead of tomorrow’s blockbuster.

The match shall be played in front of 25.000 spectators.
