Fire guts part of Bafoussam’s Marché B

A fire incident has caused significant damage at the Marché B market in Bafoussam, West Region of Cameroon.

Reports on the Cameroon Radio Television, CRTV reveal the fire broke out on Tuesday morning.

Despite the timely intervention from the fire fighting brigade, a significant part of the market is believed to have greatly burnt to ashes.

Luckily there has been no loss of human lives, however huge material damage has been incurred. At the moment the real cause of the fire has not been established yet. Investigations have however been opened to find out more.
