Five pastors, two others kidnapped in Nkambe

Five pastors, and two members of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, CBC are said to have been kidnapped.

A source tells MMI they are “the Nkambe field pastor, four other pastors and two brothers from CBC Nkambe field in Donga Mantung division”.

Reports say they were kidnapped yesterday evening in Zibie, Ako when they were coming back from a meeting. The kidnappers, alleged Amba boys are said to be requesting huge amounts of money to for their release. The CBC is yet to comment on the incident.

With the recent wave of kidnappings and abductions in the Anglophone regions, a lot of religious leaders and clergymen have been victims.
