Cameroon’s deposed Prime Minister, Philemon Yang is now talking about the need to “embrace the facts” and “accept the truths” about the worsening economic situation in the North West, his region of origin.
“The truth is simple… since 1990 the political life and economic regression have grown from bad to worst …,” he states while wooing councillors to vote for the CPDM, the party that has plunged the country into the same predicaments.
Watch???
Mr. Yang served the country as PM for almost ten years and the deepening war in the Anglophone regions escalated when he was still serving as Prime Minister.
Would the situation have been this dire if “elites” and appointed officials were honest to “embrace the facts” from the beginning?.
