Four anti-Biya protesters arrested in the UK

Four persons of Cameroonian origin who were this Tuesday, September 22, taking part in a protest in London have been arrested. They were among the hundreds of anti-Biya demonstrators at the Cameroon High Commission in London.

MMI has not been able to confirm what they are being charged with, but they are currently under custody.

Their lawyers have spoken with the police, to confirm where they are, Mimi Mefo Info was told.

One of the Brigade Anti-Sardinard – BAS members has said: “the British police seem to be trying to protect their government’s interest in Cameroon… we often see these arrests as an intimidation tactic”.
