Fuel scarcity hits Yaounde again

Fuel scarcity has again hit Cameroon’s political capital, Yaoundé.

Long queues have been seen at various fillings stations in the city as motocycle and vehicle owners seek to get fuel that seems to be unavailable.

Some have even been obliged to spend close to five hours at the filling stations, some motorists told MMI.

“We have serious fuel problem in Yaounde today, since 11:30 that am here at total Ngousso up till now, too much traffic!” one of the drivers stated.

Another decried that he was “at one filling station since 6:30 up till now (afternoon) we are just waiting that maybe they will bring petrol.”

However, new developments reveal that a black gold rush is currently ongoing in Nkomkana, Yaoundé following the arrival of fuel.
