Garoua: Corpse Of 21-Year-Old Lady Retrieved From Pit

A decomposing dead body was yesterday recovered from a pit in Garoua, in the North Region of Cameroon.

The body was recovered from a pit situated at the Quartier Camp Chinois neighborhood in Garoua, the capital of the North Region.

The body was identified as being that of a 21-year-old lady, believed to have fallen into the pit some days back.

The corpse was retrieved by the firefighters’ brigade and has been handed over to the forces of law and order.

Investigations meanwhile have also been opened to find out more on circumstances on the death of the 21-year-old lady.
