Garoua: Lifeless body of man discovered hanging on tree

The lifeless body of a man said to be in his forties was discovered hanging on a tree in the Djoumessi neighborhood in Garoua, North Region of Cameroon.

The discovery was made by locals of the neighborhood.

According to reports, the young man whose identity is yet to be known was found hanging on a tree about 4 meters above the ground.

“Did he kill himself or was he killed and hung on this rope? Difficult to know, because the circumstances of his death remain unclear,” ActuCameroon stated.

The body of the deceased was removed by firefighters and handed over to the medical and judicial authorities who have opened an investigation.
