Laïnde accident as Sodecoton Truck avoids Elephants on the road
A Cameroon Cotton Development Company (SODECOTON) truck has killed four persons comprising three children and an adult in Garoua, North Region of Cameroon.
The tragic incident unfolded on the fateful night of Thursday, August 3, 2023, in the small community of Laïnde.
According to local sources, the collision occurred between a Sodecoton truck and a motorcycle. The unfortunate incident took place as the truck driver attempted to avoid a group of elephants leisurely crossing the road.
The four victims, are reported to have died on the spot.
