Garoua: Two Teenagers Caught With Human Skull Reportedly For Rituals

The 19-year-old teenagers, Douboi Pascal and Saine Robert, were apprehended with a human skull which they allegedly unearthed for some fetish purposes.

The Gendarmerie officers who apprehended the teens also realised they were part of a larger network of human bone traffickers which the officers have vowed to dismantle soon.

“On the 14th of this month, we were notified by the vigilante committee of the Kongore district, informing us that there are individuals who were seen late at night carrying a suspicious bag. After a thorough house search in the area, a skull was discovered. We brought the skull to a doctor who then determined that the skull was that of a man of about 40-50 years and must have died about 4 months ago as a result of a head trauma,” explained Captain Housseini Hamadou, Commander of the city Gendarmerie of Garoua.

Meanwhile the two teenagers revealed they had been threatened to exhume the bones or be transformed into animals.

“We were cultivating the fields not far from the cemetery, a man came to ask us if we do not want to become rich instead of working in the farm. We said yes. He then gave us conditions that he was going to put us into an illuminate sect. He told us to bring the head of a corpse and insisted if we refused, we would be transformed into cats or dogs,” explained one of the boys.

The two teenagers are currently in detention at the Gendarmerie headquarters in Garoua, as investigations to uncover the unholy activities of the sect continue.
