Girl murdered, dumped by roadside in Yaounde

The corpse of an unidentified girl has been found in Tam Tam Weekend neighborhood in Yaounde, political capital of Cameroon.

The corpse of the girl, said to be in her twenties was discovered by residents of the locality early this morning lying lifeless, in the road.

According to a witness, “We woke up to discover this young girl who happened to have been slaughtered in the night.”

He added that: ” if a thorough search is carried out in the area , I believe the perpetrator will be identified. He is surely in this area, not far from where her body was found.”

Our witness further suggested that the victim was not killed on spot where her corpse was spotted. “You can clearly see that her killer stabbed her, carefully wrapped her and dumped her here. There is no blood around her body,” he insisted.

Firefighters, including police officers, immediately rushed to the scene after being alerted by locals.

The identity of the young lady is yet to be known. Meanwhile, the perpetrator of the act is still at large.
