Cameroon’s Ministry of Defence has issued out a communiqué informing the general public of the launch of a competitive test to begin a recruitment process into the Cameroon army.
The announcement issued by the Minister Delegate in Charge of Defense, Joseph Beti Assomo indicates that over 2000 new recruits will be needed into the separate security divisions.
There will also be a recruitment of 300 students Non-commissioned officers of the National Gendarmerie (General Service), and 40 students Non-commissioned officers of the National Gendarmerie (Military Health).
Meanwhile, a list of 3000 student Gendarmes and another list of 5,330 private and seamen second class candidates has been published on the notice board of the Ministry of Defence, the command post of the ten military sectors and the Gendarmerie legions.
