Government Reports Say Only 5 Persons Died in Boumyebel Accident

An official statement from state authorities has claimed only 5 persons died in yesterday’s accident involving a Buca voyages bus and a Dovv truck in Boumyebel, in the Center Region

Having not established the exact cause of the accident in a communiqué published by the Transport Ministry, the report however states that an investigation will be opened to find out more facts.

Following the accident which happened yesterday at about 11 pm, a team from the ministry of transport was quickly dispatched to assess the situation.

The government has promised to implement several other measures to make sure that such accidents are limited, especially along the Yaoundé-Douala highway.
