Governor Gives Security Assurances as Population Flees North West

North West Governor, Adolphe Lele L’Afrique Deben Tchoffo, has called on the population to desist from listening to calls on social media aimed at destabilizing the region and to go about their normal activities.

He says the state of Cameroon is bent on ensuring the security of persons and their properties.

The North West chief executive made the declaration this Friday in Bamenda while addressing media persons.

This comes days after he returned from the first governor’s conference chaired by Minister Paul Atanga Nji that took place last Monday and Tuesday in Yaounde.
