Grand national dialogue: Fako chiefs propose ten state federation

Members of the Fako Chiefs’ Conference have tabled ten state federation as proposal to the prolonged Anglophone crisis.
In a letter addressed to the Governor of the South West Region, the Chiefs said General amnesty should be granted “all concerned with the crisis”.

While appreciating President Biya’s national dialogue call, the chiefs said Ambazonian fighters have expressed willingness to take part in the discussions, but on condition that their safety is guaranteed.
“They will start by participating through a telephone Conference call or on social media from their hiding place. Therefore before the next meeting, adequate arrangements should be made in this direction” the chiefs said.
