Gruesome killing of prison administrator gets widespread condemnation

Chief wardress working at the Bamenda principal prison was discovered.

The lady, Ayafor Florence had travelled for a funeral in her native pinyin village on Saturday September 28, 2019 and was kidnapped on her way back by Ambazonian fighters, one of her colleagues told Mimi Mefo Info on basis of anonymity.

She was later gruesomely murdered and her body parts found along the road in Pinyin. Her head had also been chopped off its body, an act that has since drawn widespread condemnation.

The mother was of the 2004 batch of the School of Penitentiary Admission ENAP buea. Working at the bamenda central prison.

Her death comes as the second gruesome murder of a female soldier since the crisis began.
The first of such incident took place in Bello, where a pregnant officer was stabbed and brutally killed.

Ayafor’s death makes her one of several others allegedly tortured and killed by separatist gunmen in the North West and South West regions.

She leaves behind, her kids and the husband.
