Anyeh, Meta Fons Union President HRH Dr. Fombo, and MECUDA President General Prof. Njoh Oliver all addressed the crowd. The festival was not just about dance. Alongside the energetic Nkwem performances, attendees had the opportunity to admire a showcase of rich Meta cultural artifacts. The Nkwem dance performances were accompanied by the exhibition of Meta’s rich cultural artifacts, adding depth to the cultural extravaganza.
After over 6 hours of cultural celebration, the day’s events culminated in a thrilling competition, with the Guneku Kwem dance group emerging victorious. The Buea Kwem dance group and Tua-Chup Kwem dance group secured second and third place respectively.
