Happening Now: Bafoussam Faces Risk of another landslide

There are fears of another landslide happening in the nearest future in Bafoussam. A portion of the road at a place called ‘Boulevard Eveche’ inhabitants say shows visible signs of a landslide. To avoid casualties, people have been advised not to use the road.

Inhabitants are calling on the department of civil protection in charge of natural disasters at the ministry of Territorial Administration to take urgent measures.

This is happening barely a week after Gouache landslide still in Bafoussam that caused the death of 43 persons according to official statistics from the government.
