Heavy Rains In Bamenda Leave Two Persons Dead

Two young boys have died after after they were swept away by water following torrential rains, Sunday June 26, 2022.

Reports say the two left their Ntarikon residence to attend Benediction at Catholic Church Small Mankon in Bamenda when the unfortunate incident happened.

The exact location of the incident has been said to be at the entrance to Cow Street in Nkwen, Bamenda.

The bodies have been retrieved and burial is being organised by the bereaved families.

In addition to the human lives lost as a result of the heavy down pour, food crops were also destroyed.
