Hoodlums kill deaf and dumb pork vendor in Ebolowa

A deaf and dumb pork vendor, Rodrigue Beyeme has been assassinated by unidentified men in Ebolowa, South Region of Cameroon.

Reports have it that the man in his 40s was found lifeless, in his pool of blood on December 25, 2022, precisely in the Hysacam neighborhood.

“According to testimonies from those around him, he sold two large pigs at the retail market on December 24 and must have earned more than 400,000 FCFA,” reported ActuCameroun.

“A sum that attracted the criminals who were monitoring him all day,” they added.

According to the victim’s relatives, he usually deposited his income in the bank immediately after sales. It was however not the case on the fateful evening.

On the evening of December 24, 2022, he was attacked in his room where he lived alone.

He was brutally killed and the money taken away by the unidentified men.

An investigation has been opened to shed light on the tragic incident.
