Hush money offered to journalist, confirms high-level attempts to cover up Martinez Zogo’s murder

Renowned whistleblower and journalist, JP Remy Ngono recounts how he was offered 70 million FCFA ($114600) to stop talking about the murder case of Martinez Zogo.

Remy Ngono got a message from an unknown person through WhatsApp.

That person asked him to stop his campaign against Amougou Belinga, who is being held and questioned by Gendarmerie officials about the brutal killing of Zogo.

Remy Ngono took time to show that top Cameroonian officials were involved in the plot to kill Zogo, from the time he was taken hostage until his death.

“We will get hold of your informants in Cameroon one by one since you have turned down the offer… You will also lose your Facebook and YouTube accounts,” the unnamed individual said.

Remy Ngono who is based in France has received countless threats from the Yaounde regime for constantly exposing government loopholes and societal ills.
