The above statement is contained in a message read out on the occasion that brought together over 30 traditional rulers from other parts of the country as Fons of the National Peace Caravan by Traditional rulers converged on Bamenda over the weekend.
During his welcome address read out by Angu George a notable and Private Secretary to the Fon, it stated that British Cameroon and French Cameroun became united in 1961 via a Plebiscite.
The Fon states his position in regards to the Major National Dialogue that opened this Monday in Yaounde: “… I advocate for a return to the Federal Structures of 1961, Multi-culturalism is highly welcomed and should be used by the Head of State to cement the Federal Structures”.
During the ceremony at the Ntabag neibourhood in Bamenda libations were poured, aimed at cleansing the land of the atrocities commited for three years of the anglophone crisis and pave a peaceful way forward.
This was under the watchful eyes of the traditional rulers of the caravan led by their National Coordinator Sa Majesté Mbassi Bessala Prosper Parfait.
