The head of Cameron’s ICT University has expressed the institution’s plan to provide postgraduate scholarships for students.
This was revealed during an audience granted the president of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Victor Mbarika by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute.
Speaking during the audience, Prof Mbarika noted that the ICT University will provide 10 scholarships for PhD students and another 10 for Master’s students.
While those for the PhD must be below the age of 35, he explained that beneficiaries of the Master’s scholarship should not be older than 30.
The US-based academic don added that his institution is going to provide two virtual libraries to two state universities worth about 130 million FCFA.
Expressing his gratitude during the audience, PM Dion Ngute noted that the gestures announced by the institution of learning would go a long way to improve the living conditions of Cameroonians.
With all ICT University campuses in developing states, it serves over 15,000 students globally in different domains.
In addition to academic programs offered, the ICT University offers a series of first hand experiences in its academic work.
