If I were president, I would end the Ukraine-Russia war in 24 hours – Donald Trump

United States’ former president, Donald Trump, has said that ending the Ukraine-Russia war would be easy if he were reelected.

“If I were president, I [would] end that war in one day. It’ll take 24 hours. I will get that ended. It would be easy,” former president Trump told GB News’ Nigel Farage.

Trump said he “got along great” with Russian president Vladimir Putin and criticised Joe Biden’s handling of the war in Ukraine.

Accord8ng to his successor, Joe Biden, played a huge role in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Putin never would have gotten into Ukraine if it weren’t for the incompetence of this administration, this current administration. Putin was not going in. It was never mentioned, and I knew him very well,” Trump said.

While describing the war in Ukraine as a ‘disaster,’ he added: “That deal would be easy. A lot of it has to do with the money. That war has to be stopped. It is a disaster.”

Donald Trump is planning to run for the Presidential Election in 2024.

He has recently been in the spotlight when the jury found him guilty of sexual abuse.

Trump is also still facing criminal charges on a hush money case.
