Imprisoned coffin revolution leaders threaten drastic actions against those fanning insecurity

Leaders of what has come to be known as the “Coffin Revolution Movement” presently serving prison terms in Yaounde have given a thirty days ultimatum to petsons causing pains on the population under the cover of the movement.

In a two page document dated May 18th 2020 and signed by Mancho Bibixy Tse and Ngalim Felix Safeh, the founding leaders of the Coffin Revolution have restated the objective of the revolution. To them, the revolution was to bring political reforms to improve the living conditions of the people through inclusive dialogue.

The document states clearly that the revolution was never initiated to inflict pains and suffering on an innocent population as what is perpetrated today by some groups in the North West region of Cameroon.

To leaders of the Coffin Revolution Movement, a thirty days ultimatum given “…is for the gangsters torturing people to rethink and change by seeking legal ways of survival without harassing, killing or threatening the local population ”

Secondly, leaders of the coffin revolution say after the thirty days deadline, they will launch aggressive actions against boys that will refuse to repent from their ways of suffering their very brothers and sisters.

Macho Bibixy Tse and Ngalim Felix Safeh in the document sounded categorical that “… these gangsters cannot win the war against their people. If they don’t respect what we have stated, unannounced actions will be carried out”.

Writing on those they think are causing tension in the anglophone regions of Cameroon, leaders of coffin revolution say there are two groups. To them, this includes “bandits that have constituted themselves and have taken advantage of the situation to achieve their interest of stealing under the cover of fighting for the liberation of the people “.

The second group as stated by the coffin revolutionalists that is causing insecurity is “Boys sponsored by certain politicians to achieve their political dreams of weakening the fight for the restoration of Ambazonia statehood. When these politicians achieve their goal, they abandon the boys whom they used to get there. Feeling disappointed, the boys start harassing people for survival “.

Coffin revolution leaders have enumerated several atrocities committed by the above mentioned groups. They include; kidnapping and asking for ransom, attacking health and educational infrastructures and harassing workers of these departments. They equally mentioned the desecration of tradition and cultures of the people as well as disrespect of traditional authorities.

The warning document from leaders of the coffin revolution comes when the population of the North West most especially say they have been overwhelmed by all sorts of atrocities committed by boys who pretend to be fighting for the restoration of Ambazonia statehood.
