In Dschang 1500 is written on medical certificate but we pay 5000FCFA to get one – People’s Voice (PV)

Good day to the Mimi Mefo Team, kudos to the work you people are doing. I have this worry that’s been eating me up.

I have been sick for 1 week now and was given 5 days of rest from work by the Dr, OK, now when I went back to work, I was asked to go and bring a medical certificate which testifies that I was sick.

This is vexing, after seeing my medical booklet signed by a Doctor. Ok since this medical booklet isn’t valid, how will the same Dr, whose signature isn’t recognize in a medical booklet, signed a medical certificate for justification? Is it not the same person and same signature???

Finally I went back for a medical certificate, this is what’s eating me most now, there is no Medical certificate in Dschang for the past 3 years, so you have to go to the University entrance, and pay 5000frs for one to be printed out for you, even when it’s printed, what you see on it is 1500frs and not the 5000frs you paid for.

Printed in an A 4 paper, as though it was a child’s play. The government of this country is really relax and the masses are suffering.
