Indomitable Lionesses still without luggage over one week after arrival

The delegation of the Indomitable Lionesses are yet to receive their luggage, over one week after their arrival in Cameroon.

The delegation arrived Cameroon on Wednesday, July, 20, 2022 aboard Air Maroc.

A member of the delegation disclosed to MMI that: “We took air maroc one week ago as the female national team was returning to cameroon and till today, our luggage have not arrived, FECAFOOT said they will follow up but its now two weeks and we have not yet received our luggages.”

She emphasized that most Indomitable Lionesses have been left stranded as most of the important belongings are found in their luggage.

“… Most of the players are frustrated as most of our things are in the luggage and we dont know when it will arrive,” she added.

The delegation is therefore calling on the Cameroon Football Federation to look into the issue and find a quick solution.

The Indomitable Lionesses were returning from the just-ended 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament which took place in Morocco.
