Indomitable Lions stranded in Douala as Camair-Co fails to provide plane

Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions are stuck in Douala and may forfeit their game against Mozambique tomorrow in Morocco.

Reports say they are stranded after CAMAIR-Co which was meant to ensure their transportation, failed. With the current situation, there are fears the lions may not make it for the 2 PM encounter tomorrow.

Subsequent reports have hinted neighboring Equatorial Guinea has offered to provide air transportation for the lions, to prevent them from losing tomorrow’s encounter by forfeiture.

The Lions’ team as well as the national carrier is yet to make any official remarks.

While waiting for the transport issue to be sorted out, the lions have returned to the Japoma stadium to train.

The latest situation once more exposes not only managerial challenges in the Lions’ den, but also at the national airlines.
