Ivorian Prime Minister Resigns



Ivorian prime minister, Patrick Achi has resigned.



The senior official declared his resignation on Wednesday April 13 2022.

Patrick Achi was appointed by presidential degree to the post of prime Minister on March 26, 2021.



“I would therefore respectfully present my resignation as prime Minister, head of government, his excellency the president of the Republic.”



This he said at the start of the council of ministers, chaired by the head of state Alassane Ouattara at he presidential palace in Abidjan-Plateau.



Reports confirm the next prime Minister will be made public in the days ahead.
