Kah Walla says poor governance is reason for Cameroon’s loss of peace

The CPP’s Kah Walla has said the drastic change that has taken place in Cameroon within the last decade is due to poor governance.

In her end of year address last night, she noted with dismay that the quick change from being an island of peace to facing a plethora of challenges is “the direct result of the disastrous governance that has been inflicted on our country”.

To her, ” Cameroon is a vehicle that has been driven by a group of malicious incompetent drivers for far too long”.

Decisions in 2020 she noted have to be made by Cameroonians who can only be supported by the diaspora and international community.

“If we do not take back our power as a people and take back control of our country, there may come a time when it is too late” she warned. This she says is the only way for Cameroon to achieve justice, peace, growth and prosperity.

Her speech came just moments after Kah Walla and members of Stand up for Cameroon visited some Internally Displaced Persons in the South West region with gifts and food items.

The CPP is one of several political parties that has denied to run for the February 9 twin elections citing a number of issues with the system.
