Kamto Supporters Dare Atanga Nji In Yaounde

Several persons were arrested today in Yaounde while protesting against electoral hold-up.

A statement from the the Spokesperson of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement party, Olivier Nissack say the protesters were following guidelines of the National Resistance Plan initiated by Professor Maurice Kamto and CRM party members to denounce election fraud.

“Several peaceful protesters have been arrested this morning at the esplanade of > in Yaoundé.
National resistance is actively growing.
As a reminder, the national resistance plan is public, known and based on the triptych PACIFISM-CONSTITUTIONALITY-LEGALITY.”

Olivier Nissack wrote few minutes ago.
The situation and whereabouts of the arrestees is still unknown.

This is the second wave of repression of the CRM election results protest.

Paul ATANGA Nji, Cameroon’s Minister of Territorial Administration declared friday, October 26, in Yaounde, that any plans or attempts to disrupt public peace and order will be punished accordingly, adding that the move is against the law.
