Kumba: Detained pastor released under tough conditions

Alain Favour, a Pastor arrested and detained in Kumba last week has been released.

He was arrested at the behest of Muslim faithful and administrator who took offence with his preachings regarding their faith on radio.

MMI gathered that he was released after paying a fine, and signing an undertaking.

“The document he signed before his release stipulated that he would not preach anymore on the Muslim faith and practices. He would have to stay away from anything regarding the Muslim faith,” said a source.

Alain Favour us however, happy to be a free man again after he was held for nearly one week.
