There is consternation in Kyé-Ossi, the border town between Cameroon, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea in the South Region as some Cameroonians have been allegedly shot by Guinean soldiers.
The Cameroonian civilians were reportedly working on a land that has for long been in dispute between Cameroonians and Equatorial Guineans for years.
Several physical conflicts have often emerged from this scuffle between the people across this border for the disputed area, except this time around it may have taken a rather bad turn after Guinean soldiers opened fire on Cameroonian civilians on the disputed land.
Local Cameroonian authorities for Ambam and Kyé-Ossi have rushed to frontiers to meet with some of the present Guinean authorities to seek for answers.
Neither the Cameroonian nor the Guinean authorities have made any official reaction.
