Lady injured by hot oil as car crashes into puff puff and beans joint

A woman of the Buea Town neighborhood in Buea, South West Region of Cameroon has been rushed to the hospital after a pot of hot oil got poured on her body.

The incident took place this afternoon was a result of a collision between three vehicles.

According to reports, the lady known for selling puff puff and beans by the roadside had just settled when the incident occurred.

“I was with her some few minutes ago and she told me she wasn’t fine so I advised her to look for a pullover and wear. Later on, they called me saying she had been involved in an accident,” a relative to the victim disclosed.

According to an eyewitness, “she had just started frying the first set when one of the vehicles came from nowhere and hit her umbrella. The umbrella then overturned the pot full of hot oil on her body. “

Before she was rushed to the hospital, passersby resorted to pouring raw eggs on the victim’s face, which according to them would reduce the impact of the hot oil on her body.

A student who was on his way back from school was equally knocked down in the course of the collision “… but sustained no major injury,” according to an eyewitness.

The forces of law and order arrived at the scene once alerted.
