Last CAF Inspection Team For CHAN 2020 Expected Today

A delegation from the Confederation of African Football CAF is expected to arrive Cameroon today Tuesday February 11th 2020.

According to Abel Mbenge; official spokesperson of the organising committee of African Football Championship on the state radio, the CAF inspection team will start work in Limbe and Buea on Wednesday February 12th.

To him, they will inspect stadia, hospitals and hotels. From the South West, the delegation will travel to Douala and Yaounde for a similar exercise.

Being the last inspection team in Cameroon ahead of the start of African football Championship – CHAN on the 4th of April 2020, the inspection team will stay in Cameroon until next week when draws of the competition shall be conducted in Yaounde.

Last week, Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute visited stadia in Douala, Limbe and Buea and appreciated the government for great work done. That not withstanding, parking spaces are still to be completed at the Japoma and Omnisport stadia in Douala.

African Football Championship CHAN will hold in Cameroon from the 4th to the 25th of April 2020. Matches will take place in Limbe, Douala and Yaounde.
