Limbe: Body of missing man found in river

The corpse of 36-year-old Odeh Derrick Achou-Da has been retrieved from a river, in Limbe, South West Region.

The corpse was discovered in the river, today September 2, 2022, after he had been missing for days.

“Someone saw him at the river this morning and came to our house,” a family member of the deceased told MMI.

It is, however, not clear, how the victim got into the river or what exactly caused his death.

“I don’t think he drowned because he wasn’t bathing there, if he was bathing, his trousers would have been off,” our source indicated.

The corpse of Derrick Achou-Da, already in a degrading state, was later buried by the riverside.
