Limbe: Heavy-duty truck crushes three to death

Three people have been confirmed dead at Bundes junction in Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon, after being crushed by a heavy-duty truck.

The victims involved in the accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon are a commercial motorbike rider and his two passengers (all males).

Local reports have it that the heavy-duty truck attempted to avoid a pothole when it brutally hit the commercial motorcycle, which was transporting three passengers.

“The three persons lost their lives on the spot,” sources have revealed.

In some viral images, the three victims can be seen lying on the ground with some parts of their bodies gruesomely shattered.

The incident occurred a few hours after a landslide killed two young men in the same town.
