By David Atangana.

Unidentified individuals are reported to have killed and dumped a 30-year old young man in Limbe, family sources have confirmed to MMI.

Seku Basil was found dead Tuesday September 3, 2022 in Limbe, Fako Division of the South West Region of Cameroon.

Sources say he was killed by unidentified men who later reached out to the family to come pick Basil’s body.

“He was beaten to death and dumped infront of Mile 1 hospital Limbe by unknown people,” a sister to the deceased told MMI during an exclusive phone chat.

“We received a call from my brother’s number but heard someone else speaking. He told us that he has been beaten to death by his brothers and that we should come and pick his death body,” a family member narrated.

He was reportedly taken from half mile to mile 2 where he was beaten and killed.

“Trying to inquire what happened,
the person simply told us to call when we arrive where his body was dumped,”

She added that: “When we got there and called my brother’s number, nobody answered. As we speak, the number is not going through.”

“We decided to check at the Mile 1 hospital mortuary where we were shown an unidentified corps and it was my brother,” said our source in tears.

The deceased, family members say had just returned from Equatorial Guinea where he went for greener pastures and had started establishing in Limbe.

It is not known what the motives of his killers are.
