Littoral: Over 180 Cartons of Mackerel Seized by Customs officials

In an endless fight against illicit trafficking across the borders, Cameroon’s law enforcement authorities have seized at least 180 boxes of Mackerel fish from traffickers in the Moungo Division, Littoral Region.

The goods which weighed over 30kg each, were smuggled into Cameroon from Equatorial Guinea, a day before it was seized by the customs officials.

The cargo was apprehended on November 04, 2021, around the bridge over the Moungo in the Littoral Region, and has been handed over to the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Water and Energy Resources, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

It is also revealed by Actu-Cameroun that another interception of illegally imported medical kits was done by the Bonaberi Mobile Customs Brigade.
