Three suspected burglars have been arrested in Makenene, Center Region by the Gendarmerie Brigade.
The trio is suspected to have been at the heart of a burglary operation at a Micro Finance Organisation in the town.
The operation by the suspected thieves reportedly left one of the Micro Finance’s security guards critically injured, and later died in hospital.
Prior to their arrest, the thugs are said to have been at the heart of multiple crimes and atrocities in the community.

“They are accused of breaking into people’s homes and making away with their belongings…,” a Gendarmerie officer said upon their arrest.
The same officer added that further findings revealed that the suspects, aged between 26 and 42 years old, are ex-convicts, and perpetrators of countless crimes and atrocities in Makenene.
