Mali picks first CHAN semi final qualification ticket

The Eagles of Mali have qualified for semi final of the sixth edition of African Nations Championship.

Mali overpowered the Republic of Congo in a post match penalty shoot out by scoring five goals while Congo scored four at the Amadou Ahidjo stadium, Saturday January 30th 2021.

After playing ninty minutes of regular time without a goal on either side, the crucial semi final match got into a thirty minutes prolongation. The players there played for one hundred and twenty minutes.

Cameroon is about now taking on the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo in a second quarter final game today.
