Man allegedly poisons own children in Douala

A young girl aged 4 has died while her sibling is currently battling between life and death at the hospital after they both consumed a drink offered by their father.

The incident took place at Pk8 neighborhood in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon, where the children were said to be on holidays.

According to neighbors, the two kids were standing by the gate when their father arrived, gave them sweet drinks and left.

While consuming the sweet drinks, it is reported that one of the kids aged 4 collapsed and died instantly.

The other was immediately rushed to the hospital, as blood began oozing out of her mouth, ears and nostrils.

Other sources revealed that the 4-year-old girl is the second child of the couple to have died in the space of two years.

The first was said to have mysteriously died after consuming “miondo”, while on a visit to the village last year.
