Man beaten to near death in Yaounde for failing to pay consumed beer

An unidentified man has been beaten to near death in Yaounde, capital city of Cameroon.

The incident occured Monday June 20, 2022, at about 9:00PM in a local bar in Monté Jouvence neighborhood.

According to reports, the man consumed beer and claimed that he had no money to pay.

“…..he drank beer for 7000frs and did not have money to pay” said an eye witness who added that ,”The bar owner fell on him and got him beaten to near death.”

He was reportedly rushed to the hospital.

Onlookers and neighbours, according to our sources condemned the act and threatened to close the bar where food is also sold.

At the time of this report, the victim was under intensive medical care.
