Man found dead in toilet in Douala

The body of Djeubeng Eric Martial has been discovered hanging in his toilet at Makepe Misoke neigborhood in Douala.

A neighbour speaking to the press said “At about 7:30 am yesterday Tuesday, the door of Martial was partly open. I called him several times but he didn’t answer. This morning, the door was still open. So I went in after calling several times. As I tried to put off his light in the toilet, I saw his body hanging. I shouted and called for people. “

Neighbours explained that thirty three year old Djeubeng Eric Martial had a problem with his girlfriend last month.

“His girlfriend brought some boys and they beat Martial one month ago. Since then, he is always in the house alone”the source claims.

Martial was a worker at Nestlé company in Bobaberi Douala according to neighbours.

At the moment, it however remains unclear what caused the death of the young man.

To some people, he must have taken away his life while some suggest that he may have been killed and the body hung in the town.

The body has been deposited in a mortuary while investigation has been opened .
